Parallel with the Children’s Home I a second house was also constructed, since another couple was ready to become a family for orphans as well.Since the lot was big enough for another Children’s Home the foundation responded to the local evangelical church’s request.
The city of Mukachevo lies in the wine-growing region at the shores of the river Latorica, about 500 miles away from the national capital Kiev. This area is also known as West-Urkanian Transkarpatia.
"We no longer want to just stand and watch how children in our region are growing up without parents and without anyone who embraces them with loving care.
We want to take action, but we don’t have the living space and are not able to create it ourselves. Please help us!“
This was the request issued to the foundation by the local evangelical free-church.
September 24, 2017, will be a long remembered day in this town. Up to 24 orphans will now find a loving home and a chance for a good future.
