A house makes history. Centuries ago, when Germans colonized this area at the invitation of Catherine the Great, they built this house on the 10.000 square meter land. After expropriation during the war, it was converted into an NKVD "secret service". Later on, it served as a school.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, it was plundered. In order to avoid a complete dilapidation of the historic building, a businessman bought it to renovate it. When the roof was just being completed, the financial crisis came and the whole project stalled.
At this time the homeowner heard about the foundation building Children’s Homes for orphans. He was glad to provide this house for this purpose. Shortly after it was renovated and finished. The Children's Home was opened on October 19, 2014. Since then you can hear the laughter of happy children who learn to respect themselves and others.
