„PLEASE, PLEASE TAKE ME WITH YOU“...

…with these words Lena clung to my leg when we visited a state orphanage. One look into her fear-filled eyes suggested that she must have experienced something terrible. We learned from the home's director that she had been repeatedly raped by a caretaker.

Lena, not yet nine years old, kept cowering fearfully in some corner, not letting anyone look into her badly wounded soul…
