When a family, also located in the Odessa area, learned that about 30 miles away the foundation was building one children’s home in Sanschjka, they came knocking at our door. „We already have orphans and would love to accept more into our family. There are still so many children in our area who grow up without parental care and warmth,“ they told us.
The foundation investigated the circumstances in the city of Belgorod Dnestrowsky, which is located in the south-west of Ukraine, and agreed. Quickly a fitting construction site was found, and thanks to the favor of the local authorities, the permission to build was granted shortly after. The family waited anxiously for the constructions of their new children’s home to be finished, which was festively opened on September 11, 2016. Their dream to be able to celebrate the coming Christmas with a larger family will now be fulfilled.
