Therapeutic care and pastoral care

In addition to a secure and protected everyday life in the children’s homes, our children and young people are also given therapeutic support and pastoral care. The Foundation wants to help them to work through their difficult and traumatic past, and to overcome the present challenges that often emerge as a result. In the process skills for their future lives are promoted and strengthened. The children are encouraged to grow up as self-aware individuals who are concerned for themselves and others.

Foster parents are offered seminars that help them to care for the children not only materially, but also emotionally. They gain a lot of assistance by exchanging experiences with other parents and by talking to specialists.

In addition, family and group work, as well as meaningful leisure activity arrangements, play an important role. We also place great value on education and occupational qualifications.
