The Sangerei region has existed since 2003. Until then, the area belonged to the now dissolved Bãlţi County and is 110 km from the capital Chisinau. With almost 80,000 inhabitants, the region is one of the most densely populated localities in the country. Accordingly, there are more children here who have no warm home, no caring parents.
According to the standard of DIE BRÜCKE ZUM LEBEN Foundation, up to 12 children have a place in the children's houses built by the Foundation. On 24.08.2022 one of such houses was opened in Sangerei.
It is supposed to become a place of refuge, love, a home for those who do not have it anymore. The parents who move in here are aware that they are not taking on an easy task. Each of the children brings with them their own story, their own personality. But they want to offer the children a perspective, far from the street, from the situations that children should not experience.
Love, recognition and care await the children here from now on and here they can be what they are, daughters and sons.
