The Republic of Transnistria declared itself independent from Moldova, but does not enjoy international recognition. Many people in the city of Bendery would be prepared to welcome orphans into their homes.
However, this often fails due to the lack of living space. Here the Foundation has built a children’s home which was opened on 11 January, 2015.
