Children's Home I in Lutsk
Lutsk is a city in northwestern Ukraine. Situated on the Styr River, the large city with over 210,000 inhabitants is the center of Volyn County.
As everywhere in the world, there are children in Lutsk who could not escape their previous sad fate. What does it mean for a child if the parents do not take care of it? It is a fact that children need regular meals. Often they are growing up lacking important nutrients to develop properly. As a result, not only their growth suffers, but also their mental development. In addition, their parents do not ensure that these children attend school regularly. These are all aspects that lead to children being pushed in a negative direction, both socially and economically.
The foundation THE BRIDGE TO LIFE, as the name suggests, offers them the opportunity to start a new life. Out of the broken environment, away from the mistreatment of their biological parents, the orphans come to a family where they get everything that has been denied to them until now. In addition to care, education and, most importantly, love, the children receive many other foundations for their future lives. All this makes them personalities who do not remain victims of their past, but are able to lead a normal life.
On 11.09.2021 the children's house, built by the Foundation, opened its door for up to 12 children, whom a couple of parents receives with great joy.
