Children's Home in Goschuly
Only six miles outside of the regional capital Poltava lies the village of Goschuly. The evangelical free-church runs here a youth center for children who for various reasons require special care and attention.
On a neighboring property they would like to build a Children’s Home to provide these children with the chance to grow up in a real family.
The foundations have been poured, and now the fourth Children’s Home in the Poltava region will be finished in 2017.
In the late afternoon of June, 1, which is widely celebrated as the international day of the child in the Ukraine, numerous guests gathered around the newly constructed Children’s Home for the opening ceremony. Through their singing not only adults but also children made this event a very special occasion.
