The war against Ukraine has caused many people to flee their home country. Within the framework of our network, we were able to take some of them in here in Germany and provide them with the necessities. Thanks to the willingness of many people in Germany to make sacrifices, it was also possible to pass on donations of money and goods to Ukrainians who had fled in Moldova and Romania. The families who remained in the local children's homes continue to be accompanied and supported by the Foundation.
We would like to thank all our helpers and supporters for their great willingness to help and donate this year!
DIE BRÜCKE ZUM LEBEN foundation has set itself the goal of supporting orphans and children in need in the poorest countries of Eastern Europe. It provides them with a warm home in a family and this enables them to have a sheltered childhood. In recent years, we have been able to experience how this work has developed in a beneficial way.
It is thanks to the dedication of both our Foundation Director and the entire team that we have been able to dedicate more than 100 children's homes in Ukraine alone in recent years (a total of more than 200 children's homes in 7 countries).
In order to be able to continue to expand this valuable and fruitful work in the future, we need the energetic supporters who feels called to do this and sees the care of orphans as a personal affair of the heart. Who grows into the work of the foundation management and takes over this responsible task when our current director retires in the next few years.
