Children's Home I in Sabridj
In this village south of the city of Ushgorod in Transcarpathia we found parents who already had taken in a number of orphans into their home. They wanted to help even more children by providing them with the loving care of a family.
Since they did not have appropriate living space, the foundation agreed to built a children’s home there in 2016.
July 23, 2016 was day when finally the newly constructed Children’s Home was opened. Many guests gathered to participated in the celebration; however, the happiest of all where the orphans. They proudly presented their new bedrooms and said with sparkling eyes, “they said we are sleeping here tonight, and not only for one night; we are going to live here!“
The foster parents could not hold back their tears of joy. Their dream to offer to orphans a sheltered home had come true.
