Children's Home I in Zhytomir

Zhytomir is a big city in Ukraine with about 270.000 residents. The city is 120 km west to the capital Kiev and 150 south of the border with Belarus. It is economically and culturally an important and fascinating city.

Due to the fact that the village was founded in the 7th century the city has seen a lot of history. Even if the economic situation of the city has continued to develop, the social situation of the population hardly changed.

The foundation THE BRIDGE TO LIFE wants to give the orphans of this city more than just care and food. It wants to give them a loving family and a stable home. Here they have parents, who care about their sad and tragic fates with full devotion and heartfelt care.

On world children´s day June 1st in 2021 the opening of the children´s home was celebrated. Next to the Mayor Serhiy Sukhomlyn there were a lot of visitors to participate at this happy event and to congratulate the family.
