Children's Home I in Kremenez

Kremenez is a city of about 22,000 inhabitants in the west of Ukraine in the Ternopil region. On June 12, 2020 it became the center of the newly established Kremenez Municipality, which includes 43 villages in addition to the main town.

Kremenez was founded in the second half of the 12th century and looks back on an eventful history. Throughout the decades, the town has been repeatedly invaded by hostile forces, and it was not spared even during the Second World War.

As in earlier times, the town tries to defy all the adverse circumstances and difficulties that war brings, and in particular to take care of its orphans. Parents can be found who are willing to give their love not only to their biological children, but also to children growing up without parents.

Thanks to the foundation THE BRIDGE TO LIFE, the first children's house was built here this year - a house that has become a new home for up to 12 orphans. Here, some of the children experience their first Christmas or celebrate their birthdays for the first time. The children experience love and appreciation and what it means to be part of the family.

This house was opened on June 10, 2023 and occupied by a loving family.
