Children’s Home in Mingir

Mingir is a village in Hincesti County, a 60 miles southwest of Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. Almost 5,000 people live here. It is a beautiful rural place, ideally suited for growing up here as a child.

This was the thought of a young couple who not only wanted to raise their own children, but also to give the orphans a family. This decision had to be well thought out and many preparations had to be made. The young parents attended seminars and trainings to prepare themselves for the responsible task. Because the orphans come with their experiences and hurts that weigh on the little souls, they need not only affection and love, but also additional expert care. Each of these children should be raised to become a self-confident adult who is also capable of facing the future with all its challenges.

In order for the couple to be able to focus on exactly this and not have to worry about the living quarters required for this purpose, the foundation THE BRIDGE TO LIFE made the construction of this house possible. On August 24, 2022, the children's house opened its doors and can now be filled with the loud laughter and trampling of many little feet.
